STYLE KOREAN [Pre- Order] Beauty Con LA Box First Impression Review and Experience

Hello everyone! Its been awhile, I am back with another new blog post. Today I am going talk about a k-beauty product brand that is new to me. If you guys followed me on IG you probably know that I went to LA for Beauty Con for the first time and my main reason was to buy some Korean skincare products. And I purposely bought my ticket for this event to visit booth #817 Style Korean.com. Style Korean.com is a online shop for Korean skin care products, makeup and more which ships straight from Korea. They also have some blogs, skincare and makeup tips on their website. You can even apply to try some products to review and maybe will be published on their website! They are also active on IG to update their followers and answer some questions whenever they can during live streaming. BTW They have more than 160K followers on IG and continue to grow. I instantly fell in love with the brand. Why!? Simply because the team and staff that I met online and at their booth are all Amazing! They greet you with a smile and they know the products well. Also is that they don't push you or force you to buy their products. But instead they give you their knowledge and opinion of each products you might be interested to try. Shoutout to Miss Stella for helping me find some skincare to try for my troubled skin. I really enjoyed my experience at their booth and made my Beauty Con LA experience extra special. Its my first time trying out all the items in the box, so this will be my first impression, thoughts and opinions about the products and box.

This is one of the main product I really wanted to try when I saw the content of the Style Korean.com box. Now I am still new when it comes to K-beauty products, but this particular one caught my attention because I always hear a lot of reviews and posts on social media; especially IG. Since this one is a sample size I thought I should give it a try. Although this one is said to work on sensitive skin I wasn't really expecting much because I have a sensitive, acne prone skin and thought that this one will also give me breakouts, To my surprised it didn't break me out and it helps my skin feel hydrated and moisturized. It has no scent which is really good. The consistency of this product is between gel and water; its very pleasant. Theres no sticky or tacky feeling when you apply it on your face. I love the cool feeling when I apply this on my skin too. It absorbs very well on the skin. This is one of my favorite items in this box. Good thing I purchased the bigger bottle for backup.
HOW TO USE
Apply an appropriate amount onto a cotton pad
Apply whilst gently following the lines of your skin
Turn the cotton pad over and gently pat to absorb the contents
Heat up your hands and cover your skin to further enhance the absorption of the essence toner

I never really tried any products from Huxley before but I always see a lot of post reviews and pictures on IG. I heard that they are pricy compared to other skincare brands. So when I saw that Huxley is included I thought I should at least try the sheet mask. And let me tell you, OMG! I loved this sheet mask! It has a unique separate oil compartment to combine with the sheet mask essence, and once they are combined, within seconds the essence color changes from clear to milky white color. The sheet mask is microfiber material that is super soft and very gentle on the skin. This is the softest sheet mask I have ever tried. If this will be a blanket I would buy it LOL! The consistency of the essence is really nice. Its not oily or greasy. In fact its almost like a gel type. Not sticky either. When you put it on, its very cooling, soothing and most importantly very hydrating and moisturizing on the skin. It gives you a beautiful glow when you wakeup the next morning. Also one important thing is that it didn't give me any breakouts which is rare when I try a new skincare products. Huxley Mask is my second favorite item in this box. I just wish that they are more affordable. Other than that I love love love this sheet mask.
HOW TO USE
Fold over the bottom pouch 3 times as pictured and apply pressure until the pouch pops, pushing the oil into the top pouch.
Press down evenly on the surface of the top pouch until the mixture turns a milky color. After cleansing and toning, apply the sheet mask over the face. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes.
After removing the sheet, gently pat excess treatment into skin for maximum absorption.

I always see some posts about Sulwhasoo products on IG. I've always been interested to try but never got the chance. I am so glad that this box had a sample size to try. This is like a water consistency. It has an herbal scent but I think the scent is a little strong for me. If I have a choice I prefer skincare that has no scent to light scent or sometimes a fresh scent that most skincare have. One thing I like about this product is that the size is really small that you can even put it in your pocket or makeup bag. This one has a pump for easy use and is travel friendly in my opinion. No need to worry about the product getting everywhere since it has a lid.
HOW TO USE
After facial wash in the morning and evening, pump 2 to 3 times onto palm and apply with fingertips. Gently wrap the face with hands to help absorption of the product.

Fist time using this product and I don't really know what to expect. The texture of this one is liquid form that has a slimy consistency. First when you apply it on the skin it feels a little sticky but once its dry, your skin feels refreshed, soft and smooth. It absorbs on the skin really well and is really light on the skin. Since I have oily skin, I can see that this one does make my skin looked matte but it doesn't feel dry at all. Although I loved the finish, I am not a fan of the scent. It has a combination of flowers and a sour scent to me. Like I said earlier, I do not prefer scent, but thats just my personal opinion. Also this one made my skin a little itchy which is really weird. Upon looking at the ingredients, it turns out this one unfortunately has Salicylic Acid, which is too strong for my sensitive skin. Its either gives me itchiness or sometimes it causes me to breakout. So unfortunately, for my skin type, I am going to pass on this one.

Massage into face and pat lightly until fully absorbed

Out of all the products that is in this box I think Etude House is the only one I am familiar with. Although I have used makeup and eye patches from Etude House before, I never really use any skincare from them. The consistency of this one is not too light and not too thick either. Its a little rich for me so I prefer using this one at night. Although it feels a little greasy on my skin, It does hydrate and moisturized my skin when I use this product. It doesn't have any scent which I like.
HOW TO USE
Use at the last step of skincare to provide deeper moisture to skin. Dispense a pearl-size amount on the back of the hand, apply on the face, and press skin steadily to promote absorption into skin.

Its been awhile since I used an actual eye mask and thought I should give it a try. This one has a cloth like material. Its very soothing, cooling to the skin, and I really like that when its comes eye masks. I also like that this one doesn't sting my eyes which is nice. This claims to help is your under eye if you have wrinkles, and also claims to brighten and bring elasticity to you skin. With one time use, it didn't give me a fast results, but I believe you'll probably get a better result with long term use of the products. Also the eye mask stays put under my eyes and didn't slip or go anywhere. Also a little pricy for me $9.26 ea.

Open the pouch and remove the protective film
Apply from the inner corner,only the area under the eye

If you follow me on IG you already know that I also love makeup, and especially lip products and eyeshadows. I am already happy with the skincare that is included with the Pre-Order LA Beauty Con Box so this eyeshadow felt like a very nice bonus. I think this is the first time I used a wet/liquid type eyeshadow. I am not gonna lie I thought I would not like this one because of the consistency of the product. Thought that it will just be messy and difficult to work with since this one is straight up liquid and wet/gel type of eyeshadow. I was wrong! This one is actually really nice and easy to blend eyeshadow! It is wet like gel when you apply but once its dry this one stays really well and won't go anywhere. I also loved the color. I think its a good everyday color of eyeshadow which can be used day or night. This one don't have any applicator, so make sure that your fingers or hands are clean OR at least use a clean brush when using this eyeshadow so it won't contaminate the whole product. Overall I really like this eyeshadow and might get some other colors.

Take an appropriate amount on your finger tip and spread across the eyelid.

As much as I want to use this product, unfortunately I can't since my skin is very sensitive to Salicylic Acid. I will be not opening this one. I won't be able to make any reviews or thoughts about this one since I can't really use products with Salicylic Acid in it. But the good side is I will be giving this away to someone who really needs itQ
HOW TO USE
Dispense a moderate amount into your hand. Add water and lather
Massage onto face and neck, avoiding eye area. Rinse with warm water
For the T zone on the nose and the forehead,where grease and blackheads and whiteheads are easily formed, rub with bubbles along the texture (Rub too long and the skin turns dry. so avoid long time scrubbing)

Really good variety of skincare
Good starter box to try out some sample size products before buying a full sized item
Most of the products works well with my sensitive skin
Definitely recommend it to everyone who wanted to try some K-beauty products as starter box
My favorite items in this box are the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner 30ml 1.01 FL oz and HUXLEY Mask; Glow And Brightness
